Home, sweet home

Being at home with the four of us again, giggling with Anne and my friends for hours, Dutch food (that you will really appreciate after 14 weeks of eating Rita's food on campus) and celebrating Christmas with the family are the things I enjoyed the most during the past two weeks. I spent the first week of the holidays at home and the second week in NYC with my family. We celebrated New Year's Eve by having dinner at Catch and afterwards we went to the Brooklyn Bridge to see the fireworks, but due to the rain this was a huge disaster haha! We spent the rest of our week together enjoying everything the city had to offer during winter: ice skating in Central Park, shopping in Soho, seeing the 9/11 memorial and looking for all the Christmas vibes. On Wednesday we had dinner at The Skylark, which is my absolute favorite new place, because it gives you the perfect view over the city from their rooftop restaurant. I mostly enjoyed each others company and that's why it was hard to say goodbye again, but now it is time to enjoy my last six weeks here in New York. I am forever grateful for everything that I am experiencing and I can't wait for what 2019 is holding for me.

See you soon! Xx
