Home away from home

After an 8 hour flight I finally arrived in New York City, I met my roommates and decorated my room to make it more feel like home. At first, everything was a little overwhelming, new people and a new city to discover, but when we walked out of Grand Central and felt the spirit of this city, we all felt so lucky to call this city our home for the next six months. Me and my friends spent our first weekend in world's most famous borough and the heart of the city; Manhattan. We enjoyed the never ending lights at Times Square, we had lunch at a French-style restaurant called Le Pain Quotidien and of course we also did some shopping on Fifth Avenue. On Sunday we went to our first Yankees game, where we had so much fun.
